  KENORA ALL STAR STAFF

CHEERLEADING COACHES AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

Cheerleading in Kenora began as a high school cheer program run out of Beaver Brae Secondary School.  In 2001, Deb & Deb took over the school team which then grew from a top 20 team in the province to the Cheer Evolution SAG National Champions in 2013.  Between 2001 and 2013, Deb and Deb worked to create an inclusive program, open to all children in Kenora, to not only provide access and opportunity to the sport, but also build a strong united program in a small community with a limited athlete pool that could be competitive with the big all star programs on the National stage. Recreational cheer teams, Junior competitive teams and Dance teams have been implemented into the cheerleading program thanks to the assisstance of our Bronco Cheerleading Alumni who return to our program and give back to the youth in our community through volunteer coaching.  It is this spirit of gving back to our community that helps to build the strong character of our athletes, as well as fostering a sisterhood amongst our athletes.  These children will be the future of our community and as such the bonds we create between them will help to ensure a future of compassionate, supportive citizens willing to work together to build a strong Kenora.  Kenora All Star Cheerleading (est. 2013) is now a Not-For-Profit community-based cheerleading program, open to any and all athletes in Kenora.  We have a program for you!  From high level competitve Rep teams to fun Learn to Cheer programs, KAS adjusts its programming to fit the needs and wants within our community.  With the dedication of our highly skilled VOLUNTEER coaching staff, as well as the committment of our parent volunteers, Kenora All Star Cheerleading delivers exceptional programming in Kenora.  Welcome to our KAS Family.
